Dame Essence becomes the premium rosé at Langham Hotel Eastbourne
Eastbourne, September 2026
Dame Essence Rosé is set to become the premium rosé served at The Langham Hotel Eastbourne, marking a new chapter for the iconic seafront hotel following its recent change of ownership and investment in its guest experience.
The Langham, which first opened on Eastbourne’s Royal Parade in 1913, entered a new era in 2026 following its acquisition by Novastar Hotel Group. The 77-bedroom hotel continues to build on its independent character while introducing new hospitality concepts designed to bring greater energy to its bar, restaurant and seafront spaces.
The hotel has also been investing in its facilities, including its seafront bar and terrace, creating a refreshed setting for guests and visitors to enjoy drinks overlooking the English Channel. A further £1.2 million refurbishment programme has been announced as part of the property's new ownership strategy.
The arrival of Dame Essence Côtes de Provence Rosé adds a distinctly Provençal touch to the hotel's renewed drinks offering. Crisp, dry and vibrant, the rosé combines notes of strawberry and white peach with hints of Mediterranean herbs, balanced acidity and a clean mineral finish.
With its elegant profile and relaxed Mediterranean character, Dame Essence is a natural fit for The Langham's newly refreshed seafront experience, whether enjoyed over lunch, afternoon drinks or while watching the sun set across the coast.
The partnership brings together two brands with a shared appreciation for style, hospitality and memorable experiences: the historic charm of The Langham Eastbourne and the modern Provençal spirit of Dame Essence Rosé.
The Langham Hotel Eastbourne is located at 43–49 Royal Parade, overlooking the seafront. Its Langham Bar & Terrace is open to both hotel guests and non-residents, with drinks served until 11.30pm.
