“Sometimes a wine turns up that’s just too good…” – Joe Fattorini’s review

Dame Essence Rosé has made a strong impression on wine writer and broadcaster Joe Fattorini, who has praised both the wine and the distinctive branding behind the new Provençal rosé.

In his latest review, Meet the Dame, Fattorini describes Dame Essence as “a masterclass in wine branding”.

For Fattorini, what sets Dame Essence apart is the way its wine, personality and visual identity work together. At the centre of the brand is the fictional Lady Rose Petrole, a larger-than-life character who, according to the brand story, leaves her stately British home for the Côte d’Azur in pursuit of sunshine, parties, exceptional hats and good wine.
